The name of your store and where you are located:

By Moulin, Solroed Strand – Denmark. Bymoulin.dk is a Danish webshop.

Tell us about your background and how the idea of your retailstore came about:

By Moulin is a family business, and Moulin is our family name. It's mostly Mia (daughter) and Karina (mother), who are in the front. But our husbands help with the economics, packing orders and so on. Both Karina and Mia work in the financial sector, but Mia has long had a dream to open a webshop with lovely kids stuff, and Mia managed to persuade Karina to be co-founder of the web shop.

Where do you look for inspiration?

We get a lot of our inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest. We love to discover new brands from all over the world.

What are some of your favourite items in store and why?

Every little thing in our shop bymoulin.dk we have handpicked, and we love it all. But of course we have our favorites. Mia loves the unicorns and Karinas favorites are  Dylan the dragon and the rabbit Bandit.

What is your favourite thing to do when you aren’t at the shop?

Hygge (sounds a bit like “hooga”) roughly translates to coziness)  with our family. Especialy Mias children Oliver 5 year and Isabella 2 year. And Mia is giving birth to a baby boy in January.

Do you have a favourite country to visit in Europe and why?

Our favorite countries in Europe are Spain and England (London). Spain for summer-holiday, and London for shopping.

Do you have any travel tips for travelling within Europe?

Come to Copenhagen in Denmark, with Tivoli, Nyhavn, Christiania, 1 mill. Bicyckles, a harbour so clean that we can swim in it, a lot of very old historic buildings and much more.
