 We are hiring and have the following positions available to join our team in our head office in South Geelong . If one of these positions looks like it could be for you we would love to hear from you . 

Junior Graphic designers 

Right now we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Graphics team in our Head Office in south Geelong. Reporting to and being mentored by our Creative Director as a Graphic Designer, you will showcase your technical experience through:

  • Creating high quality content through photography, videography, Insta Stories and collaborations.
  • Create and manage promotions on Home page and website.
  • Creation of seasonal lookbooks.
  • Creation of wholesale catalogue.
  • Creation and driving of all promotional artwork.
  • Experience in Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest platforms
  • Creation, resizing and maintence of all website imagery daily.
  • Pinterest posting and creating boards.
  • Create weekly mail outs for the Miann & Co consumer.
  • Accurately interpreting and executing briefs from our Design team.
  • Creating artwork for placement and yardage prints, embroideries, embellishments and more.
  • Assit with styling on photo-shoots to be usedfor creating content for website.
  • Working with the Creative director & Brand Manager to develop and deliver social media strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Maintenance and driving Miann & Co promotional calendar.
  • Using creativity to create/visualise outstanding new artworks in line with Miann & Co style and handwriting
  • Designing labelling/packaging for Miann & Co product lines.
  • Ensuring/researching/sharing knowledge of local and overseas market trends.
  • Work with brand director on campaign direction and mood boards.

Must have a tertiary qualification in graphics / textile design or certificate at tafe and experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign). You pride yourself on your good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. A strong sense of creativity and style with a keen eye for detail and colour combined with a can do attitude, as well as being a team player and has a genuine passion for kids and womens fashion will put you on the path to succed in this role.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

 WORKING HOURS:

9-5 pm Monday - Friday 

Administration and customer service 

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Responding to incoming phone and email requests within specified time frames and handling customer inquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Providing product information, solutions to customer needs and support with any online shop processing questions.
  • Making sure all online orders are processed in full and on time
  • packaging orders accordingly to delegated systems
  • Answering and managing the info email inbox in timely manner.
  • Dealing with returns and exchanges using the appropriate procedures in place
  • Preparation for large sales events including sorting of samples
  • Taking initiative to implement systems to increase efficiency
  • Meet and greet customers for pick up orders
  • Data entry and report preparation and analysis this will include weekly stock on hand reports / best seller reports
  • Diary management help organizing staff activities and group outings
  • General administration (filing, faxing, ordering of office supplies)
  • Assist and drive action with large sales and events ensuring all supplies and full preparation is done
  • Assist different areas in the office with filing and administrative tasks
  • Follow up of customer requests, issues and complaints to resolution.
  • Achievement of agreed department KPI’s to drive superior service delivery.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the Company’s product range.
  • Contributing to the team’s continuous improvement initiatives and targets.
  • Be trained and work on our postal and courier service software
  • Be available for local and international tradeshow set / up pack down sometimes outside normal business hours.
  • General book keeping duties
  • Ordering of stock on some of key basic lines.
  • Be available to assist on markets
  • Assist customers in our online shop.
  • Help with event organization .

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

10 – 3 pm Monday to Friday this is a permanent part time position perfect or parents of school age kids

Social Media guru

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Working with the Creative director to develop and deliver engaging social media strategies that drive brand awareness.
  • Creating high-quality content through photography, videography, insta-stories, collaborations etc. 
  • Working with our graphic designer on all content for our blog. Content that is relevant and enticing to our target market
  • Writing informative content for our blog using the Miann & Co tone of voice.
  • Undertake market analysis, sales forecasting, budget control, product launches and media planning.
  • Create, manage and schedule daily organic social media content across all channels (facebook, twitter, pinterest, you tube, instagram etc )
  • Work with our inhouse grapghic designer on developing a consistent tone of voice across all our platforms and mailouts.
  • Write on brand captions to accompany social media posts
  • Interact with our loyal facebook community.
  • Coordinating Ratings and Reviews, Q&A strategy as applicable for all online channels
  • Undertake Influencer outreach by sourcing new influencers to work with.
  • Co-ordinate and manage all social influencer partnerships & strategies including Writing Influencer creative briefs.
  • Incorporate key marketing strategies and sales campaigns into social media content.   
  • Experience in Facebook, instagram and pininterest
  • Maining and growing our Pininteterst boards and community
  • Managing the social media conten calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing calendar to plan and schedule social media activity.
  • Reporting on all social media/online activity to the wider business on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, providing regular insights and recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

  • Prior retail experience a benefit but not essential
