We have an array of articles to fit everyones needs from our latest releases, our design inspiration to our travel tips.
It's no secret we love a stripe. Whether it's for the little ones or ourselves, we can't resist adding a classic stripe into our collections. Our new release of our wovens sees a new take on the simple stripe. It features a thinner contrast stripe surrounding our block stripe, adding a point of difference. This is seen in pink and chambray, so there's something for all the little ones. Our stripe is woven into our cotton fabric, making it lightweight for the warmer months. We work hard on picking the perfect fabrications for each season, and this cotton is no exception. It is breathable in the spring summer but will also keep your little one warm with some extra layers when it gets cool. We adore a mix and match of prints, so pairing our stripes back with our florals, gingham or spot is what we're all about this season. See below how we have incorporated our stripes into our range and how to style it back with other garments in the collection. Mexico had been one of my dream destinations for a long time. I had a pen pal growing up in Mexcio and studied Frida Kahlo. Mexico had long been on our dreamy travel list. Our USA and Mexico was an all in one hectic trip. These are my personal outtakes on the trip and travelling with a nine, seven and ten month old. To be honest when we started our research we found little on travelling with kids and in particular babies in Mexico. We had so many questions about the access into centos etc. So I am going to cover off some of the information that wasn't available when we started researching our trips. We have mentioned it before, but we plan all our trips well in advance and we pop a lot of time into researching and pre-booking everything. This is very different to the way we travelled prior to kids but we have also worked out that things run so much smoother when you put the legwork in before you hit the ground travelling with little ones. Playa Del Carmen was our first stop. We thought that this would be a good place to base ourselves for some of the places we had pin pointed that we wanted to visit. I am not going to lie, my first impressions of Playa Del Carmen we're not what I had expected. I was very surprised how 'touristy' this little Mexican town was. We decided not to stay at an all-inclusive resort, as we like to wander and find the hidden gems. However the all-inclusive resorts seems to be a must do when travelling with kids in Mexico. We booked 5 nights at the Hotel Magic Blue, which was a little Oasis right in the hub and opposite the COCO Bongo Nightclub. This hotel was the perfect hub to return to and enjoy a swing in a hammock, a swim and a margarita. For a family of five we had to have separate rooms which we didn't realise when booking. Our children are still young and so we weren’t able to have connecting rooms. It meant the adults had to join the kids in a room each which was not ideal. Day trips We booked our first day tour and to be honest after speaking to a lot of travel groups not many were keen to take on our whole family of 5. So we opted for a private taxi booked through our hotel. To be honest this ended up being the best option! Our driver was so good and we are thankful that he to also had a family and understood our needs. Chichen Itza Our first stop on our day tour was Chichen Itza. We arrived there early to beat both the heat and the crowds... and hot it was! We lasted two hours with the kids. Their amazement soon turned to 'it's so hot'. Walking around with a baby was next level. We were so grateful for the advice to make this our first stop and the umbrella that our driver had provided us with to block out the sun. Cenote swimming Next stop was Cenotes and this to is something we were all looking forward to, plus was our chance to cool off. A centoe is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath and they are spectacular with the clearest coldest water I have ever seen. Our first Cenote was nearly empty upon arrival. Our driver recommended that we go to the smaller cenotes to avoid the large crowds and bus groups. The water was super cold but so refreshing. Information regarding kids and particularly babies when visiting cenotes was limited when I began researching. While in Mexico we got to visit quite a few cenotes. Our baby was 10 months old and we were able to take her. We even did the cave diving, which I was super nervous about but she was amazing and embraced it all. The water is cold so after the initial shock she really loved the cold relief from our warm day tours. We did have a life jacket for her and recommend if you are travelling with smaller ones under 12 months to take your own fitted life jacket. But it was a highlight for our whole family to enjoy the cenotes. The walk to some is quite steep so we always had her in a baby carrier and held onto the walking rails. Again I want to stress this is something we felt comfortable doing with all our kids. They love the water and despite the super chilled temperature of the water, Coco loved every minute of it. I suggest to do whatever works with your kids but this was a favourite. Valladolid After cooling off we headed to Valladolid, a quaint brightly coloured Mexican town, for lunch. This beautiful little Mexican village is exactly what I had expected Mexico to be. We had wished that we had booked a couple of nights in this beautiful little place. We ate ice cream, visited a beautiful church and sat in the love seats. This day trip was a highlight for our little family, but it was a super big day of travel. We headed back to our hotel late with some yummy Fajitas. Coba Ruins Our other Day trip we did was Coba Ruins. This was a highlight and it was the ruins that our kids really enjoyed. We hired two bikes for our family of five, which made seeing and climbing the different ruins super achievable and also fun. The kids loved the pace of the bikes weaving in and around the leafy paths. They also enjoyed climbing one of the ruins, which had me shaking in my boots. Going up not so bad but the coming down. While in Playa Del Carmen we spaced our day trips with days by the pool and days to catch up on washing and work emails. We needed to slow the pace and our little one also caught hand foot and mouth, which also meant minimal sleep over this period. We loved the pace of Playa Del Carmen the Mexican food off the beaten track was amazing. It was certainly a great place to base yourself for day trips. If I had my time again I would reduce the 5 days to two days and head straight to Tulum, which was our next stop and a welcomed change of pace that we loved. Must see day trips Coba Ruins Cenote swimming Chichen Itza Valladolid We didn’t get there but was on our wish list was a day visit to Xcaret Eco Archaeological Park Eat We found some quaint little places off the beaten track that served delicious Mexican food. Stay Hotel Magic Blue - buffer breakfast was incredible as where there margaritas . The staff where super friendly and incredibly helpful . Transport We had heard lots of things about tourists being targeted by police and so were very nervous to hire a car. We found the idea of a driver and inexpensive and great way to get around. He was also able to show us some hidden spots for our family to enjoy and we could not recommended this experience more.

Forever Bloom is our second drop in our SS18 collection, where we see some gorgeous spring summer prints start to appear. Think gorgeous blues, pinks and touches of mustard. This range was inspired by our growing little ones and their need to bloom, grow and flourish. We continue to be inspired by simple living, living by the coast, and appreciating quality over quantity. This second drop sees a change from lightweight knits to lightweight cotton voile, making this range perfect for those warmer months. Forever bloom sees the introduction of a new crinkle cotton texture that gives that light and airy feel, like the summer breeze and adds the practicality of low maintenance wearing. It's no secret that we adore florals and this range we have extended the designs to include some much loved unisex botanical prints. We love the mixing of prints and this season we love the idea of mixing and matching florals and botanical prints with our traditional love of stripes and bold ginghams. Our new bedding range is so stunning, even if we do say so ourselves! By popular demand, we have four new gorgeous prints seen across cot sheets, single sheets and pillowcases. They are some must have for nurserys or bedrooms in these warmer months. We have opted for our favourite palette of blue for both the boys and the girls and it is a palette that will be sure to bring a clean look to any room or shared room. Our oh so popular jersey range is back with some gorgeous new prints and colours. These are seen across body suits, sleeveless suits, pants, bloomers and our newborn must have bibs and knot beanies. We work hard on designing gorgeous prints and ranges each season for you all. We print in small runs, making these limited edition prints and styles. MEET LOLA. Our new knit tie waist dress. This is the perfect dress to take from day to night and is one that you can simply chuck on without having to put in much effort at all (winning!). A loosely shaped short sleeve dress, that is knee length and features front and back V neckline details. The waist tie allows the dress to be tied in if desired. This tie can also be removed and the dress can be worn alone, with a belt or with a belt bag, making it a versatile piece. Being made from the finest 100% cotton yarn, this dress is lightweight and is bound to be comfortable all day and night long. It will breathe in the summer and can also be layered over jeans with a cardi and boots when it gets cooler. The navy colour is something that will fit into your wardrobe easily, and can be paired back with any other colour you currently have in your closet. Style tips* With it's v neckline, I personally love this dress worn back with some layered fine chains and a pair of natural wedges. This is a more dressy approach to the dress and allows for some lipstick and leather jacket to be added. For a more casual look, I love this paired with tan sandals and tortoise earrings for a great Spring Summer look. When I'm going shopping or for coffee, I wear my dress with trainers, belt bag and a denim jacket if it's cooler. This achieves a 'sports luxe' look which is very on point at the moment. Now I've told you how I wear my Lola Tie Knit Dress, let me know how you wear yours in the comments below x
The Audrey Tie Knit Jumpsuit is the ultimate comfortable overall style jumpsuit and is a must have this season. With its wide leg and V back detail, it is sure to make a statement. The shoulder ties are the key to this jumpsuit. Being able to adjust the shoulder ties to fit the length of your upper body makes this jumpsuit adaptable to different heights. Whether you want to wear it drop crotch or fitted, you will be able to by adjusting the shoulder ties. I find when wearing my Audrey jumpsuit, I make sure the elastic band is sitting on my waist and then I tie up from there. The elastic also caters for growing baby bumps, making this piece great for maternity wear. I am obsessed with navy and mustard as a combination this season, so pairing this jumpsuit over our Demi Knit Singlet IS my go to outfit this season. I also love this paired over a white t shirt for a casual look. For a more dressy look, I love wearing this over a silk top and pairing back with heels or wedges, and finishing off my look with fine chains and statement earrings. And when the weather starts to get warmer and we can all hit the beach, this jumpsuit is ideal to chuck on over your bathers. How do you wear your Audrey?
I recently had the opportunity to interview Brett, father of two dearest sisters. Take an insight into his life as a father and be sure to check out @fifo.dad and @dearest.sisters x What is your favourite memory of being a kid? My father worked away so I would have to say it was when he was home to take me to my sporting events! What is your favourite memory of being a dad? Building a bird aviary with him, it only took us the weekend and we thought we were pretty amazing when we had it finished. What was one special thing you and your dad used to do together? We didn’t have many traditions together as my dad was away for months at a time at work so, that’s why I’m so focused on my girls now when I’m home and doing things with them they’ll remember when they grow up. What is your favourite thing to do with your daughters? It’s different with both girls, Lailah would have to be to collect eggs from our chicken yard, we do it many times a day and she gets so excited about it! And Zaylee is so much fun at the moment she loves being chased around the house and she is obsessed with dancing so that’s a lot of fun, I also love being home and getting to put her to bed sometimes now, she loves being cuddled to sleep so that one on one time just in the quiet is so special. What do you enjoy most about being a dad? The fun of watching them grow into their own little people, they’re both so funny and crazy but full of love and enjoy cuddles so it’s just an amazing time for me at the moment. What surprised you most about being a dad? It probably sounds cliche but I would have to say the unconditional love, it’s honestly crazy how much they can stress you out with tantrums but just one smile and everything is forgotten. How will you be spending this Father's Day? Hopefully start with cuddles from my girls in bed, including Rach who’s currently pregnant with our third! Then maybe a brunch somewhere or Sunday picnic in the sunshine with my girls would be great! As long as we are all together that’s all I could want! I recently had the chance to interview co-owner of Miann & Co and father of three, Terry, to get an insight into his life as a father. See what his kids say about him in the video above, and take a read to see his highlights as a father and how he'll be spending this Father's Day below. Enjoy What is your favourite memory of being a kid? Going on long car trips with my parents for holidays. We would leave very early, like 3 am and I can remember the excitement of being able to take my blanket and sleep in the car while my dad drives and there was no-one else on the road. What is your favourite memory of your dad? My favourite memories of my dad is mostly of him laughing. My dad is a real teaser and he teases till he gets a reaction. I remember how he used to always make me laugh and as a dad myself now, I can understand why he used to do it. It is one of the nicest things to hear your kids laugh from their stomach and just hearing them laugh is enough to make you laugh. What was one special thing you and your dad used to do together? My dad used to take me to work with him and I loved it. Being a plumber looking after the main supply of water to the town, he had to drive far and we would go off-road into the mountains to the river where the water was pumped to reservoirs and then gravitated to other reservoirs in town. Sometimes he even use to put me on his lap and I could hold the steering wheel to pretend I was driving. We would be out all day in the wild and being in South Africa there was always lots of wild life, especially Baboons that would cause all kinds of havoc at the pump stations. (So we would have to go often). I remember how nice it was to get out there and be totally alone with my dad and it just being the two of us with no-one else in sight. I would play all day and if we were there for most of the day my dad would make a fire and we would BBQ on it. What is your favourite thing to do with your daughter? My little girl is 15 Months and our third child. We have 2 boys whom are a little older, 7 and 10 years. I never believed it till now, but the relationship between a dad and his girl is very different to that with boys. You love them all equally, however girls seem to have dad wrapped around their finger from a very young age. I love just sitting with her next to me or on my lap (which doesn’t happen very often as she is very busy and doesn’t sit still) I love watching her experience new things, like when we took her to the beach for the first time. Seeing the expressions on her little face as she experiences stuff for the first time is priceless and something I want to hold on to forever. What do you enjoy most about being a dad? Being a dad creates a lot of enjoyment. I love seeing my kids grow up, but at the same time I wish they would stay little forever. I love hearting them describe things in their own words and it is very entertaining to hear the funny ways they try and figure somethings out for themselves. Their imaginations always intrigue me. I love being able to take them to different countries and travel with them, to see their faces when they experience something new and different. There is something so rewarding about hearing your kids talk about things they remember from previous travel destinations that you thought they have forgotten or did not notice. A dad gets to do all the fun things like trowing them in the air and catching them again, or spinning them round and round thill they hurt with laughter. What surprised you most about being a dad? There certainly are a lot of surprises!! No-one can coach you into being a dad/parent. Being responsible and caring for little people is by no means easy, but it is by far one of the most rewarding things to watch them grow up into self dependant human beings. I am always surprised to see my kids taking the next step and becoming more and more independent with each step they take. It is also scary and sad to think that they end up needing you less and less everyday. As a parent I think you have a constant battle of watching them become more independent, but wanting to have them depend on you forever and never grow up. How will you be spending this Father's Day? I’ll be spending the day with the family and having everyone around me will be enough. Anything we can do together as a family will make it a day to remember.

Sometimes you stumble upon a place that is complete utter magic, where imagery just doesn't give it justice. This is the amazing feeling you get upon visiting the gorgeous Temple Farmhouse. We were recently lucky enough to shoot our womenswear campaign in this beautiful house, perched on a hill and overlooking the surrounding farmland in Nashua NSW. It's hard to describe the peace and sense of calmness that one place can bring. You wake in the morning to wallabies playing outside and different birdlife frolicking on the surrounded well manicured lawns. Temple Farmhouse isn't an adults only retreat, which made us even bigger fans. They cater for all members of the family, making it one of the most family friendly places we have come across in all our travels. They have a considered pool with the most beautiful views surrounded by secure pool fencing , a swing set that overlooks the neighbouring rolling hills and an outside play areas for the kids complete with the most equiste tiles and outdoor play kitchen that will keep the kids busy for hours . There is a large kitchen and we recommend grabbing all your supplies prior to getting to the house, as it is a small 10 minute drive from town and once you arrive you won't want to leave. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with or without the kids, this place is perfect to rest, recharge and enjoy. They have a large fire pit that again makes the for the most divine view and is perfect to unwind by. And a hit with the kids, where they can do some marshmallow toasting. While we were lucky to have three days to experience the joy of Temple Farmhouse, we left recharged feeling like we'd had a two week holiday. I have included the link here for anyone wanting to experience this little slice of heaven, and heaven it is with the kindest and most thoughtful hosts. If you are looking for a place that will hold those family memories tight for many years to come, this is the place. Thanks to the gorgeous Temple Farmhouse for sharing your special place x
